The Yakima Showboat makes it effortless for one person to load and unload kayaks and canoes (and other long, heavy items such as ladders). The Yakima Showboat kayak-canoe roller mounts to virtually all factory rack crossbars as well as any after-market car rack cross bars including Yakima, Inno, Thule etc. The Show Boat roller extends over the rear of the vehicle to both protect the car and also make it easy to place th front of the boat onto the roller. Then simply roll the canoe or kayak into position on whichever canoe or kayak carrier you are using on your roof rack. When finished, simply slide the Roller back into its stored position.
