Check out this very cool configuration of a 2004 Chevy Avalanche bike roof rack set up that is comprised of the Yakima RailGrab Kit roof rack and two Inno INA383 Fork Lock bike racks. The RailGrab multi-purpose base rack includes a pair of 58 inch crossbars and mounts to the Chevrolet Avalanche factory rack side rails, while the 2 Inno INA383 Fork Lock bicycle carriers attach directly to the RailGrab crossbars. An absolutely premium setup that will also allow you to connect other gear carriers to the cross bars for carrying other stuff like kayaks, a canoe, surfboards, stand-up paddle board, skis and snowboards etc. Also good for work applications such as hauling ladders or lumber.

Looking for a pickup truck rack that won’t leave you having to bring along a step ladder every time you need to load and unload your equipment from the truck rack? Check out the photo above of a 2008 Chevy Colorado truck bike rack system using the super cool and innovative Inno RT101 truck rack and 3 Inno INA382 Upright Lock bike racks. The RT101 installs onto any pickup truck bed rails including those with bed liners. The Inno INA382 bicycle carriers are upright mounting so you don’t need to take the bike wheels off. Just place bike in the bike tray and tighten the bike clamp to the bike frame, tighten the wheel straps and you are all set. The INA382 includes locks and also universal mounting clamps so they mount directly to the Inno RT101 truck rack crossbars, as well as any factory roof rack bars or aftermarket car racks if you ever need to transfer them over to a car roof. The RT101 provides the added benefit of a convenient loading level compared to other truck racks that are much higher. So leave that step ladder behind!

Overall Rating: 5 Stars (out of 5)

“I ordered the Thule 480 Traverse roof rack system for my husbands 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck and he was able to install the system and found it fairly easy to do. I also ordered the fairing because I think it makes the overall system look better and sportier. I am overall happy with my purchase, although I cannot compare it to the Yakima Racks system because I have never owned one but many canoeing enthusists tell me the Thule system is better than Yakima. The only suggestion I would make is that on the fairing they suggested that his truck would need the size Large and to me the fairing doesn’t look quite wide enough for his truck. After measuring it and looking at the meausurements for the xlarge I think the xlarge would have been the better choice because I think the fairings should go across the whole vehicle.”

“I purchased the Thule 916XT T2 platform bike rack in January and have been completely satisfied. The lcoks for locking the bikes to the T2 are sweet, and also the lock for the hitch is great for making sure your T2 bike rack is secure at all times. I have several different size and types of bicycles and the Thule T2 handles them all easily and with no modifications. You can’t go wrong with this rack.”
