Behold what could very well be the coolest new bike rack products for 2011, the all-new Rocky Mounts DriveShaft 15mm / 20mm thru-axle fork adapter (works on any fork mount bike racks from RockyMounts, Whispbar, Yakima, Thule, Inno, SportRack and more) and the category crushing Rocky Mounts DriveShaft SD that is actually a pickup truck bike rack and 15mm / 20mm thru-axle fork adapter combined into one great product and installs on any pickup truck bed track systems and channel systems located on the Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Frontier, Nissan Titan and certain model pick-up trucks from GMC and Chevrolet etc. Both the Rocky Mounts DriveShaft and the RockyMounts DriveShaft SD include a lock to secure the bike to the adapter. And of course they also have the unique ability to universally work with both 20mm and 15mm t-axles. Beautiful black powder coated finish as well.

Here’s a great shot of a 2008 Nissan Frontier bike rack system for truck bed track using two Rocky Mount Clutch SD fork mount bike racks (include hardware to install into Nissan Frontier truck bed track) and two Yakima suspension fork adapters: Yakima 25mm thru-axle adapter and Yakima 15mm thru-axle adapter.  This is a great way to transport bikes if you have a truck with a track system.

Toyota Tacoma tonneau cover bike rack system using Yakima 60" tracks and the Yakima Control Tower base rack system with two sets of # 1 Landing Pads. System has a four bike capacity using two Yakima Copperhead bike racks and two Yakima Steelhead bike racks.

Great shot right here of a 2010 Toyota Tacoma tonneau cover bike rack system starting out with a set of Yakima 60″ tracks that are permanently installed onto the tonneau cover.  The Yakima Control Tower base system with two sets of Yakima Landing Pads #1 integrates into the tracks.  Four bikes can be carried using two Yakima Copperhead bike racks and two Yakima Steelhead bike racks.  For total security for the rack system and the four bike racks, the Yakima SKS 8 pack of locks will lock every component with just one key.

Nice job.  This GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4 x 4 tonno cover bike rack system looks clean and mean.  Installed on the GMC Sierra tonneau cover is a set of Yakima 60″ tracks, which can be shortened to desired length with a good old hack saw.  Installed into the Yakima 60- inch tracks is the Yakima Control Tower Complete roof rack with two sets of Yakima Landing Pad 1 (LP1).  Carrying that nice Ibis road bike and that sweet Kona mountain bike are two Yakima Sprocket Rocket bike racks.  For security the Yakima SKS 6 pack of locks did the trick (4 locks for the Yakima Control Towers and 2 locks for the two Yakima Sprocket Rocket  bike racks).  Again, nice job.
