This 2006 Saturn VUE car rack system is configured with the Thule 45050 Crossroad roof rack attached to the Saturn VUE factory side rails. The Thule 45050 Crossroad system is a complete multi-purpose base rack system that includes a pair of cross rails integrated to the Crossroad Feet. It also includes a four-pack of Thule locks to lock the car rack to the Saturn VUE. Besides carrying building supplies, you can also attach virtually any gear carrier to the base rack cross rails for carrying all kinds of gear such as a canoe, kayaks, surfboards, SUP stand-up paddleboards, bikes, ski-snowboards, luggage and much more.

Behold possibly the best combination luggage rack and bike rack setup on the planet! This picture highlights a 2008 Saturn Vue roof rack for bicycles and hitch mount cargo box for luggage.

A favorite set up of ours, this customer installation highlights how you can outfit your entire vehicle to transport your luggage gear and equipment. This 2008 Saturn Vue bike roof rack and receiver hitch mount cargo luggage box includes the Thule 665C Transporter Combi hitch box, Thule 450R Rapid Crossroad roof rack system (with RB47 Rapid Aero bars) and a couple of Thule 598 Criterium bike racks (each using a set of Thule Xadapt8 adapters to attach to the Rapid Aero load bars). The cargo box mounted to the hitch is a great luggage rack option and reduces fuel costs because it is hidden behind the Saturn Vue. It is also much easier to access compared to a roof mounted luggage box.
