Here’s a really solid overview of the Thule 460R Rapid Podium roof rack system, featuring the ultra-sleek and whisper-silent Thule AeroBlade crossbars. The informational video includes an installation of the complete car rack system on rooftop fixed-points for a premium factory rack looking 2011 Honda CR-V roof rack crossbars multi-purpose system. With the system installed you can then connect any roof mount gearcarrier attachments to the AeroBlade load bars. Thule Racks has just released the all-new Thule 3101 Podium Fit Kit, part of the new series of Podium Fit Kits that replace the discontinued Thule TK1 Tracker Kits as the Thule 430 Tracker II roof rack system begins to fade from the Thule Racks product line up. Now the Thule 460 Podium Foot Pack and Thule 460R Rapid Podium Foot Pack can be used on more roof rack applications besides mounting to fixed-points on vehicle roof tops. With the release of the Thule 3101 Fit Kit you can now use the 460 / 460R Podium systems on any permanent mounting Thule Tracks (TB60, TP54, TP42 etc.) as well as a large number of factory rack tracks found on certain vehicles. Now available from Thule Racks is the 3109 Podium Fit Kit, a component for installing a Honda Element roof rack using the Thule 460 Podium Foot Pack and Thule 460R Rapid Podium Foot Pack.
Thule Racks has just released the Thule 3109 Podium Fit Kit, a new option for building a Honda Element roof rack system using the Thule 460 Podium Foot Pack (and square load bars) and the Thule 460R Rapid Podium Foot Pack (and Rapid Aero load bars). The 3109 Fit Kit takes advantage of the fixed-points located under the plastic covers on the Honda Element roof top. The result is a very clean, low-profile and integrated looking multi-purpose base rack set up. The Honda Element was one of the first vehicles to offer fixed-rack attachment points, and now the all-new Thule 3109 Podium Fit Kit delivers the ability to use the 460 Podium and 460R Rapid Podium car racks on the Honda Element fixed-points, great news because the 460 Podium and 460R Rapid Podium racks are designed specifically for fixed-rack attachment points.

Using the Thule 3069 Podium Fit Kit, along with the Thule 460R Rapid Podium Foot Pack and pair of Thule Rapid Aero load bars, to install the Thule 460R Rapid Podium car rack system to a 2006 Mazda 3 5-door hatchback, this video delivers a good demonstration and explanation on how to mount a roofrack to a car, van or pickup truck cab roof that has factory installed fixed attachment points. Many modern vehicles have fixed point attachments located on the roof top. These points allow for the installation of an aftermarket multi-purpose base rack system.
