As if Thule Racks hasn’t pushed the trunk mount bike rack category envelope enough with the all-new 9001 / 9002 Raceway trunk racks… they just announced another even more technologically advanced trunk bike rack offering to be available Spring 2010. Dubbed the Thule 9003 Raceway Platform trunk bike rack, this carrier includes two integrated bike trays that rest at a conveniently low level for easiest ever loading of bicycles onto a car trunk mount style bike rack. Just place the bike into the bike tray and the upper clamp located on the Thule 9003 Raceway trunk bike rack arm grips the bike frame to secure it in place. Then tighten down each wheel strap located on either end of the bike tray and the bicycle is fully stabilized for worry free transport. Each bike try is independently adjustable to fit any size bicycle, kids and adult bikes alike. And as with the 9001 raceway and 9002 Raceway models, the 9003 Raceway Platform uses high strength cables and patented FitDial for super quick and painless installing of the carrier on your car.  Compatible with hatchbacks, coupes, wagons, sedans, minivans, SUV’s, even cars with rear spoilers. Also includes integrated bike cable lock to prevent theft of bicycles when mounted onto the rack.
