Incredible image of a motorboat with Thule Gateway bike rack strapped to stern, featuring the Thule 9007xt Gateway 3 trunk bike rack.

The only thing you can't do with this motor boat bicycle carrier for 3 bikes is ride on water.

The only problem with boating is that you never know when you might spot land and want to go for a ride. With this custom install, that’s not a problem anymore. This customer created a motorboat-mounting trunk bicycle rack that allows them to take their bikes and their boat in the same outing. They selected the Thule 9007xt Gateway 3 trunk rack, strapping it to the stern of their motorboat with Thule’s patented and effortless lever adjustment. Hold Fast cradles and Anti-Sway cages protect and secure the bikes, preventing them from swinging into each other on bumpy roads. The arms on the Gateway rack drop down for improved parking clearance and on-car storage when bicycles aren’t being transported, and not only does this rack fit on boats, but it also fits with most types of bicycle, too.

These roof track cross bars with rolling kayak saddles and upright bike mounts for a Chevy Trailblazer are the perfect way to outfit your ride for summer vacation.

These customer install images from next door in New Hampshire show a great solution for getting multiple kayaks and bikes on one vehicle: 2 upright bike racks with 2 kayak saddles and rollers on cartop rack cross bars for Chevy Trailblazer factory roof tracks. This superb configuration easily transports two bicycles and two kayaks at the same time, using the Yakima Control Tower car rack with 66″ cross bars and two pairs of LP1 landing pads that mount into the roof tracks on the vehicle; two Yakima Raptor Aero bike trays; two pairs of Yakima Mako kayak saddles on the front cross bar; and two pairs of Yakima Hully Rollers kayak saddles on the back cross bar. Each component of this setup is easy to assemble, easy to use, and geared for performance and convenience. The 9003 Raceway uses retractable cables to attach to the vehicle instead of webbing straps, so adjustment is quick and precise. The 9007 Thule GateWay trunk bike rack and the 9006 Thule GateWay trunk bike rack also sport modern design styling that looks great on any vehicle. Thule Racks has invested an extensive amount of time and effort in delivering a series of trunk bike racks that lay to rest any fears consumers have traditionally had regarding strap racks such as ‘are trunk bike racks safe and secure on the back of my car’ and ‘will a trunk bike rack protect my car and prevent the bikes from swinging around’.  Top notch features of the Thule GateWay bike racks include FitDial and Quick-Fit lever for easy installation, Stay-Put cradles and No-Sway cages for easy bike loading and total bicycle protection, Cinch Lever for a custom fit no matter the bike style or bike frame geometry and also enabling the bike arms to fold down when not in use.

Many of the new improvements in the Yakima Racks trunk mount bike rack category can be attributed to the release of the latest generation Yakima SuperJoe series trunk bike racks. Now called the 8002630 Yakima SuperJoe Pro 3 bike trunk rack (holds three bicycles) and the 8002629 Yakima SuperJoe Pro 2 bike trunk rack (carries two bikes), these models feature advancements over the previous Super Joe 3 and Super Joe 2 bike racks. With an updated QuickTrigger Hub System and StableCradles & Straps, the SuperJoe Pro series is now easier than ever to install on the back of a car on the trunk or the rear hatchback door. With just a quick adjustment of the QuickTrigger fitting dial and the attachment of the 6 straps, you are ready to begin loading the bikes onto the StableCradles. The bikes are cradled snugly in place and prevented from swinging into the back of the car or into each other.  The SuperJoe Pro series fits a wide range of vehicles. These trunk bike racks are truly changing the way people think of this category. The very rugged construction and effortless installation and bike loading makes these bicycle carriers a great option for transporting bikes on a regular basis.

Yakima Racks has recently released the latest generation KingJoe series of trunk mount bike racks. Now called the 8002625 Yakima KingJoe Pro 3 bike trunk rack (holds three bicycles) and the 8002624 Yakima KingJoe 2 bike trunk rack (holds two bicycles), these premium models feature the latest generation, redesigned Yakima Racks proprietary QuickTrigger Hub System for the bike rack industry’s easiest ever rear strap rack installation to the complete spectrum of car models including SUV’s, minivans, wagon hatchbacks, coupes and of course regular sedans with classic rear trunks. The Yakima King Joe Pro 3 and Yakima King Joe Pro 2 are even compatible with many cars that have rear spoilers. These trunk bike racks are also built of bomber steel that can withstand years and years of heavy use. Gone are the days of selecting a trunk mount bike rack only if you plan to occasionally transport your bikes. Now they are an inexpensive alternative to hitch bike racks and roof bike racks. You can leave these carriers on the back of your car if you plan to carry your bikes pretty regularly. Or you can easily remove and re-install without any hassles if you plan to transport bikes only occasionally.
