If you own a Chevy Volt, you might be wondering if a roof rack system for transporting gear such as bikes, boats, or general cargo and supplies is available. And if so, does it need to permanently installed which would involve drilling? The answers lie in these install photos, which show a 2016 Chevy Volt with the Yakima BaseLine system which attaches to the naked roof with customized metal clips that hook onto the roof under the doors, so no drilling required.
The BaseLine Towers attach to the 2016 Chevy Volt with BaseClips 137 for the front bar/feet assembly and BaseClips #126 for the rear bar/feet assembly. For crossbars, the small length is recommended and there are three options available: standard steel RoundBars, aero steel CoreBars, and aero aluminum JetStream bars with T-slots (available in powder-coated black or brushed aluminum) as shown here in powdered black.
