That’s a pretty heavy lookin’ boat up there on the roof of that ’07 Kia Rondo. It’s a good thing this customer has some help loading it from the Yakima ShowBoat kayak roller system. The Yakima Showboat kayak roller is attached to the Yakima RailGrab base rack system, which provides the necessary crossbars by attaching to the Kia factory side rails. There’s an SKS 4 pack of locks working to keep the RailGrab towers locked securely to the Kia Rondo raised side rails and a pair of Yakima Heavy Duty straps securing the boat to the Yakima 48″ crossbars. As it goes currently with this set up, the boat is strapped directly to bare crossbars, so I might recommend two pairs of Yakima Mako kayak saddles.
